Curaçao

Curaçao is one of the (former) Netherlands Antilles, a beautiful little paradise in the Caribbean. A place with brightly coloured houses, breathtaking white beaches with turquoise water and a beautiful underwater world. An island with lots of dancing, great food, the best cocktails and island vibes.

Bon Bini!

Must-do’s in Curaçao

– Visit Klein Curaçao

– Chilling out on Grote Knip & Kleine Knip

– Dancing on Mambo Beach

– Strolling around Willemstad

Willemstad

Willemstad is the only major city in Curaçao and has around 100,000 inhabitants. The city is full of colourful houses, dancing on the streets and you will find numerous cosy restaurants and street food stalls.

The Amsterdam of the Caribbean

Did you know that Willemstad is also called the Amsterdam of the Western Hemisphere? This is because of the many Dutch architecture you find in the city. Besides Dutch, you’ll also find Spanish and Portuguese architecture.

Klein Curaçao

Klein Curaçao is a beautiful, uninhabited island. You’ll find nothing more here than an abandoned lighthouse, a beached boat and a larger, rusty ship. And very nice beaches.

Snorkel with sea turtles, hike, sunbathe and barbecue. That’s all you need to do on this uninhabited little island.

A tiny & uninhabited paradise.

Grote knip

The Grote Knip is one of the most beautiful beaches in Curaçao. There is a lovely Caribbean atmosphere here and the beach is especially popular among locals. The beach consists of sand, turquoise water and you can even spot turtles if you are lucky. You won’t find any beach clubs here. Just before the Grote Knip, lies the smaller beach Kleine Knip.

The Grote Knip and the Kleine Knip are often combined in one excursion. Of course, you can also drive here yourself; the beach is free to enter.

Accommodation Tip

Lion’s Dive Beach Resort

Lion’s Dive Beach Resort is a good hotel with a nice private beach. Here you can swim, lie on the beach, enjoy a massage, cocktails or a good dinner.

Next to the resort there is a dive club and further away you will find Mambo Beach if you want to dance into the early hours.

There is a free shuttle that takes you to colourful Willemstad in 5 minutes.

Highly recommended for those looking for luxury beach holidays.
